Our youth ministry (JOLT) is built around one of our greatest values as AwakenChurch: our commitment to building godly families. That commitment causes us to swerve a bit from the traditional youth ministry models with youth staff leaders and approach JOLT as a parent-led ministry instead. That means that, though we have some amazing and committed young adult volunteers, our youth group is led by, and often taught by, parents.
We understand this might be a bit different from what you might be used to or even expect. That being said, we have seen great results come from our commitment here and are excited to be able to share that experience with you!
JOLT is open to young adults from 6th to 12th grade and meets on Wednesday nights at AwakenChurch. Feel free to contact us for more information as well as a calendar for the trimester.
